HISTORY AND HERITAGE

HOSPITAL OF THE HOLY TRINITY
Founded by testamentary order of Don Gutierre de Cárdenas and executed by his widow Doña Teresa Enríquez at the beginning of the 16th century. It is the first hospital in Spain that responds to a conventual typology, it is articulated around a cloister. More information about the hospital here.
ROUTE OF COVARRUBIAS
Alonso de Covarrubias, born in Torrijos (Toledo) in 1488, was one of the great architects of the Spanish Renaissance.
